Algernon comes from a long line of Scarecrow Wizards who were not very good at their job, so instead of trying to scare off the birds he became one.
And as he makes a much bigger crow than any little birdie, he rules the roost, so to speak. :o)
Algernon stands at 17 inches tall to the top of his floppy hat.
